Class Presentation sum-up: What's in store the next couple of weeks

Hey there Class of 2015! We had a fantastic time presenting to you guys today. There was a lot of information to cover in the span of 30 minutes and due to that. we don't expect everyone to have the whole schedule memorized. I want to take the time to sum up everything we went over today. If you have any questions or feedback you'd like to leave go ahead and leave a comment or send us an email!

T-Shirts

I've already gone in detail over the T-Shirt revisions in the post made last week so I won't spend too much time on it. But sales end this Friday! This is the final deadline so don't miss your chance to place orders.

Flag Football signups

Rebuild 2015 is having a flag football tournament on October 25th (We're sure you've seen the posters around school by now). It is going to be on a Saturday at the Irving Schools Stadium. Don't miss your chance to form a team! A team is going to consist of 10 people and it'll cost a total of $60 (Only $6 per person!!!). The tournament allows for mixed grade levels and mixed gender so form a team with anyone you want. You guys have given us a lot of feedback asking for a lot of different types of sports. We are right there with you but in order to introduce other sports we have to show that there is enough willing interest. If we can accomplish this Flag Football tournament and get enough people to sign up and attend then we will have no problem hosting other sports competitions!

College Application Party

If you need help with filling out college applications or scholarships we will have days reserved to help the senior class out. During these times seniors that sign up will be in the conference center and receive help from counselors, college advisers and teachers to knock those college application out of the park! You can sign up for either October 23rd from 4th period to 5:30pm or October 24th from 8th Period to 4pm.  We highly encourage the Class of 2015 to take advantage of this time!

Parent Conference Day

On October 18th senior students will have a required parent conference with their PACE teachers. Don't worry! This isn't to discuss grades or anything of the sort. This is solely about your senior year, your plans after high school, and how to achieve your future goals. You will be need to create a presentation in order to show to your parents (details will be given out in PACE). This meeting will be a lot like the ones you've had previously at the end of your freshman - junior year but this time at the beginning.

College Tours

We have been given the fantastic opportunity to have a day where we tour colleges. This week during PACE you will be filling out forms to select which campus you would like to attend on Wednesday October 15th! This will give you guys the opportunity to experience what a college campus would be like and possibly explore a campus you are considering attending. If a college you wanted is not on the list do some research as to which campus on the list would be best for you! If you do not fill out the form you will be assigned to a college.
